The description

American businessman Half March (Godden) together with a wife by Barbara (Merono) and two friends set forth for marine kruiz, but near the banks of little spanish small town Imboka a schooner is seated on shoal by an unexpectedly coming flying gale. Half and Barbara go down ashore for help, but the streets of settlement are deserted, and after a while they will understand why: habitants of Imboki, betraying Christ for the sake of marine god Dagona, polveka back transformed in amphibians, going hunting for by the skin of people.
